The mirror lamp began to be installed as an element of truck tuning, most often using the popular, old school Hella roof indicator, which was once popular in ambulance/ambulance vehicles.
Today we will focus on this popular Hella lamp model. This is a traditional lamp in the bulb version. Its installation is facilitated by a metal pin protruding from the body and having an external thread with a nut, thanks to which you can easily attach the lighting to the truck body or to another bracket.

When the mouse ears are mounted in a way that serves as a turn signal, the manufacturer recommends using a P21W bulb with a BA15s socket. This is a standard bulb most often used for turn signal light. However, if you want to mount this lamp in such a way that it glows with constant light (the so-called American style) - be careful when choosing the power of the bulb. Example R5W - also with a BA15s socket, is a bulb with a lower power that emits less heat and causes less eye strain, and this is especially important when you install the ears under the mirror.
