- The connection of the lamp to the vehicle installation must be insulated with heat shrink tubing or possibly electrical tape to prevent water and moisture from entering the copper wire of the lamp, which could damage the electrical system. In the case of lamps with a plug, the plug must be securely connected.
- Do not cut off tinned wire ends.
- Lamps must be installed only in accordance with UNECE regulations.
